  • This group may be a good fit if you:

    • often feel overly self-critical or hard on yourself
    • notice patterns of people-pleasing or difficulty setting boundaries
    • struggle with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or feeling “too much”
    • feel disconnected from your needs, emotions, or sense of self
    • recognize that younger parts of you may still be carrying old pain or unmet needs
    • are interested in learning how to relate to yourself with more compassion and care

You don’t need to have prior experience with inner child work to participate—just a curiosity about yourself and a willingness to explore in a supportive environment.

This group is designed to be trauma-informed, gentle, and paced slowly, with space for both personal reflection and shared learning within the group.

If you’re unsure whether the group is the right fit, you’re always welcome to reach out with questions.

  • Participants often leave inner child work with a deeper understanding of themselves and new ways of responding to difficult emotions and patterns.

Through this group, you may begin to:

    • develop greater compassion and understanding toward yourself
    • recognize how early experiences shaped your current patterns
    • feel more connected to your emotions and inner needs
    • learn tools to soothe and regulate your nervous system
    • build a more supportive and nurturing relationship with yourself
    • feel less alone in experiences that many people quietly carry

Inner child work is often about learning to relate to yourself differently—with the patience, care, and understanding that every person deserves.

This group offers a supportive space to begin practicing that process, alongside others who are exploring similar experiences.

  • Each session will be gentle, structured, and trauma-informed, giving you space to engage at your own pace.

Here’s a sense of what a typical session might include:

    1. Check-in & grounding – We’ll start by taking a few moments to settle, notice how we’re feeling, and practice grounding techniques to help you feel safe and present.

    2. Psychoeducation – You’ll learn about why inner child work matters, how trauma shapes our emotional patterns, and why self-compassion is so important.

    3. Experiential exercises – Activities may include guided visualization, journaling prompts, or reflective exercises to help you connect with your inner child.

    4. Group reflection & discussion – You’ll have the opportunity to share (or not) and hear from others, building a sense of support and connection.

    5. Closing & integration – Each session will end with a brief reflection or grounding practice, helping you integrate what you’ve learned and carry it into your daily life.

Comfort is encouraged: Come in cozy clothing and bring a blanket, journal, or small comfort item if that helps you feel safe and grounded.

This structure is designed to provide both education and experiential support, while giving you space to go at your own pace in a caring, supportive environment.
